Residential Architecture
Contemporary Residence
A family home of timber, render and shade
Overview
The Brief.
On a tight urban plot in Jubilee Hills, this residence needed to provide privacy from the street while remaining bright and open within. The solution is a layered facade of timber screens and solid render volumes that filter light and views.
Design Concept
The house turns inward towards a planted courtyard, with living spaces wrapping around it on the ground floor and bedrooms above. Timber screens soften the facade and cast changing patterns of light through the day.
